| Another sign at Grand Bluffs lists the members of each mess that the captains reorganized at their May 26 camp down river (see 3 pages back). Detachment One, far left, would continue to the Pacific and back. Detachment Two would return to St Louis with the keelboat, loaded with artifacts, journals, and maps, from Ft. Mandan in April, 1805. |
