Highway 47 runs south from Hwy 94 to Washingtin - a few miles up river from the Corps' May 24, 1804 camp. I got a great assist from the visitor center. The host gave me a Corps of Engineers map of the river in Missouri. It's a L&C Bicentennial edition with all the camp sites and info signs marked on the map.
