Cannon Beach Oregon						Lewis & Clark Trail
From Cannon Beach, I drove a few miles north, on US HWY 101, to the trailhead parking lot at Indian Beach. I chose to follow Clark's footsteps in reverse - to hike part of the return trail. The southwest slope of Tillamook Head offers a shorter hike to the top and a few good ocean views. This section runs about 2 miles up to Hiker's Camp and Tillamook Rock Lighthouse Viewpoint, but it's 4 miles to this point from the north trailhead.						Ecola State Park
