| The
trail system continues north to Long Beach along the Discovery Trail
still approximating Clark's route. The trail is 6 1/4 miles from Beards
Hollow to its end. The entire trail, from the Port of Ilwaco to Long
Beach is 8 2/10 miles. To get to sections of the trail by auto, take
US HWY 101 north to Seaview. Continue north on WA HWY 103. Take any
of several side streets west to the beach to access the trail. The
Gray Whale Skeleton site, left; the Basalt Monument - Clark &
Sturgeon site, above, are at the end of Bolstad Dr. |
