| This boardwalk to Waikiki Beach in Cape Disappointment State Park was designed by artist Maya Lin (known for the Vietnam War Memorial Wall) as part of the Confluence Project in Oregon and Washington parks. Each plank in the walkway names a Lewis and Clark Trail feature, miles from previous place, distance in miles from the start, and geographic location or journal comment. |
