Vista
Park is an excellent place to watch and photograph sea traffic. These
ships don't have the sleek hulls of the carved cedar canoes Lewis
and Clark described, but they do generate interest. Top left, a tugboat
tows barges down the Columbia. Top right, the "Andromeda Leader"
pushes up the river. Right, a kids' journal assignment from an interpretive
sign. The ships are very quiet - be on the lookout. |
