This interpretive sign is in the Julia Butler Hansen Wildlife Refuge, just west of Cathlamet, off WA HWY 4. It refers to the Puget Island meeting. The refuge is home to the Columbian white-tailed deer. L&C were first to describe this deer. Top right, the view south across the Columbia. Left center, this sturgeon is at Bonneville Dam Oregon.
