The Dalles Oregon
A keelboat model, top left, and a trunk full of trade items, bottom right, are included in the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center's Lewis & Clark exhibit. The keelboat stopped at Ft. Mandan and most of the trade goods were gone by the time the Corps reached The Dalles. As they departed Fort Rock on the 28th of October, 1805, the Captains would be without reliable guides. Tetoharsky and Twisted Hair left on the 25th.
