	More exhibits at the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center: Counter clockwise from top left; a replica of a Lewis & Clark's camp with the famous portable writing desk; a barrel with Lewis's brand; a powder horn and leather pouch; an inside look at a plank house. The Corps would see many of these wooden structures as they moved west. At The Dalles they noticed other cultural differences . This was the dividing line between Sahaptian and Chinookan speaking tribes.
