After
departing the Patit Creek camp, east of Dayton, Washington, on the
morning of May 3, 1806, the Corps halted for lunch here as the sign
states. Top, the Tucannon River where the Corps lunched. They moved
out east, middle image, and departed the valley over the hills east,
bottom. The Morengo Grade road off of US HWY 12 follows the Tucannon
River here. |
