Clarkston Washington
Lewis & Clark Trail
From the Confluence Project bluff, a grain barge is propelled down the Snake River. On Oct. 11, 1805, the Corps paddled out from the Alpowa Nez Perce village site, above, in the same direction - west. WA HWYS 193 & 194, out of Clarkston, follow the river trip to their bivouac near Almota. See lct239a.
