A mural at Beach View Park, Clarkston, reflects the pride of having
the Corps of Discovery pass through this area. They left their camp,
on the north side of the Snake River, on October 11th, heading down
stream to bivouac at Almota. Two landings and a county park along
WA HWY 193 provide interpretive signs recounting the Corps's trip
on the Snake. |
