							North Fork Idaho
							After Clark returned from his reconnaissance of the lower Salmon River (see next 6 pages), the Corps detoured around the North Fork Salmon's confluence with the Salmon River. Old Toby led them up Tower Creek on August 31, 1805. They reached the North Fork Salmon, at Trail Gulch, on Sept. 2nd.
