Pelican Point

							I started my journey on the Lewis & Clark Trail while driving west across Nebraska in Aug. '08. Time constraints made Pelican Point a logical starting point. Located 5mi. off US Hwy 75, this state recreation area lets you camp close to L&C's "white feather camp" - pelican feathers. The Missouri River, top left. Flowers along the bank brighten the scene.
