| Clark's group moved north by canoe and horse along Beaver-head River, passing several of the Corps' '05 camps. Camped 7/11/06 2 miles NE of Twin Bridges; confluence of Big Hole and Rose Rivers at Beaverhead becoming the Jefferson. Heavy wind on 7/12 : Clark wrote "...here the Canoe was very near turning over..." - camped near 7/31/05 camp by US HWY 287. |
