| At
the end of Alice Creek Road, at the right of Helena National Forest
Campground, an old road has etched a good trail for hikers to reach
the crest of Lewis and Clark Pass and Continental Divide. After 3
days of fording countless creeks and at least 3 rivers, the Lewis
squad found this terrain a pleasant relief. View northeast, top left;
road/trail gradually climbs east toward crest, top right and above.
