Missouri River access can be reached from the Missouri River Recreation
Road, old US HWY 91. It's a few miles south of Tower Rock State Park.
You can drive I-15 and take exit 240 at Mid Canon, but you'll miss
a great drive . These scenes are across the Missouri, to the west.
The camp was in this vicinity. The Corps was back together for the
night but would separate again the next morning. As the sign says,
this camp was one of the few used both ways on the journey. The Corps
camped at a few other sites going both ways above and below this camp. |
