Cannon Beach Oregon
							Once over Tillamook Head, Clark's party established a camp here at Cannon Beach, on the north shore of Ecola Creek, left. The creek is flowing, toward the ocean, from the left, in the top right image. After viewing the whale skeleton, Clark "returned to the village of 5 Cabins on the Creek which I shall call E co la or whale Creek..." A group from the Lewis & Clark Trail Heritage Foundation listens to information about the site.
