| The sign and the statue of Lewis and Clark stand in the center of an auto turnaround at the end of Broadway, downtown. Seaside is about 20 miles south of Astoria on US HWY 101. The base of the statue is ringed with scenes of the Corps's experiences. The beached whale, bottom left, - the goal of Clark's trek south. |
