The
Lewis and Clark Boathouse sits on the bank of the Missouri River in
Frontier Park. Large windows provide a river background for the display
of the model keelboat and pirogues, top left. Several dioramas depict
sites along the LC route: Top right, Camp Wood, bottom left, St Charles
and the keelboat. Artifacts from Lewis and Clark are on display: Lewis's
razor and case, above. Other rooms tell the story of early St Charles
- the first state capitol and the oldest city on the Missouri River. |
