While
driving the Columbia River HWY 30, I stopped at Crown Point State
Park for a grand view of the Columbia River. The two bottom photos,
left, show the Corps's journey west on Nov. 2nd. Clark: "at 17
miles passed a rock near the middle of the river, about 100 feet high
and 80 feet Diamuter." He named it "Phoca for all the seals
