inlet at Hat Rock State Park has a boat ramp for access to the Columbia
River, in the background, above. There are interpretive signs, ample
parking, and a picnic area next to the inlet. Hat Rock rises to the
east, top left. Hat Rock Trail and Lewis and Clark Commemorative Trail
pass through the picnic area. The former gets you up close to Hat
Rock, and the latter leads to the river, now Lake Wallula, top right,
created with water held back by the McNary Dam, down river. |
