The trade items artfully displayed at the Sacajawea State Park Interpretive Center are divided into the geographic area of origin. Left, most likely these objects arrived from the north. Bells and beads may have been exchanged by Hudson Bay Company fur trappers from Canada. The collection, above, probably were traded through the network from southern Idaho, southern Oregon, and northern California.
