The Sacajawea State Park Interpretive Center holds many collections
of local native artifacts besides those concerning the Corps of
Discovery. The red circle, above, highlights Clark's campsite symbol
mentioned in the text at middle right. Clark honored Lewis by naming
the river they traveled down to the Columbia, "Lewis's River."
It's the Snake River now. A large copy of Clark's map hangs in the
interpretive center. Clark's Columbia River "Great Shoot or
Rapids" map, right, is part of a walkway interpretive sign.
