A
large stand of ponderosa pines - Clark's "long leafed kind"
- still covers an extensive part of Lewis and Clark Trail State Park.
You can enjoy the campground and hiking trails. As I walked along
the Touchet River, I realized I was once again walking in the Corps's
footsteps. The restroom doors carry on the LC theme. The LC Bicentennial
seal, left. |
