longitude and latitude. It states that Captain Lewis took readings
for the entire journey, except for cloudy nights. He also did most
of the scientific writing, such as describing flora and fauna in detail.
Captain Clark applied his surveying skills to creating the maps of
the Expedition's journey to the Pacific Ocean and back again. |
