I think the Indian maiden pays homage to local Native Americans. I
don't believe it's Sacajawea. She usually has baby Pomp with her.
The sides depict Idaho's wildlife and some plants like the bitterroot.
The concrete structure in the background houses poster displays about
the Expedition and the two rivers. |
