Our
group camped at Dry Camp (real place or not) on July 26, 2012. We
were well supplied with tasty snacks, above, including a local favorite
- huckleberry jam. Lewis & Clark Trail Adventures crew members,
Bob Clark (background) and Brian Donahue prepare dinner for hungry
hikers, bottom right. Meanwhile, crew member Lauren Dunn, center,
top right, chats with the group. Top left & right; Andy Kelly,
Malcolm Vaughan, Chris England, Pam Murray, and Chuck Wilson enjoy
the camp- fire and conversation. Captain Lewis commented on their
meal at Dry Camp: " we dined & suped on a skant proportion
of portable soupe...." They had finished off the rest of the
last colt that morning at Indian Grave/Sinque Hole Camp. |
