The Glade Creek area is an extension of Packer Meadows. Glade Creek is now Pack Creek. Forest Service Road 373, from the visitor center parking lot, leads to the intersection of Forest Road 5670, also known as Glade Creek Connection Road, on the right. This road leads to the Glade Creek State Park. The old sign,above is located a bit past the turnout and overlook signs, Pack ("Glade") Creek flows from the northeast, above, and toward the west, right. Top right, the view east from the lower meadow. The Corps arrived from this direction in 1805 and departed this way in 1806.
