you ignore the pool and buildings, Lolo Hot Springs looks much like
Lewis described it (see sign above). Clark, exploring ahead of the
rest, first came across the springs. In addition to the quote, top
right, he described the water: "I tasted this water and found
it hot & not bad tasted...in further examonation I found this
water nearly boiling hot ...I put my finger in the water, at first
