Lewis & Clark Trail
									Following US HWY 93 to North Fork, I turned west and explored Clark's earlier reconnaissance of the Salmon River (see pg. 164). The map depicts the party's route to the point where Clark decided that the Shoshone guides were right - impassable . Forest HWY 030 west to Shoup approximates the trail.
