This brush and grass hunting hut is a replica of what the Corps encountered at the Shoshone village. The village stood near the confluence of Lemhi River (bottom right) and Sandy Creek in Lemhi Valley when Captain Lewis first arrived. Later it moved a couple miles south to Kenney Creek. (See pg. 156).
