The Missouri River Basin Lewis & Clark Interpretive Trails and Visitor Center - its official name-emphasizes the natural world of the journey. Of course Seaman, left, was a member of the Corps. Center, Lewis examines animals collected for President Jefferson. Pee Dee, a live black-tailed prairie dog, right, lets visitors get nose to nose with him. Pee Dee is behind glass though.
