Lewis & Clark Trail
							The Corps of Discovery carried an incredible amount of cargo in the keelboat and two pirogues. Top left, items for their own use such as weapons, cookware, clothing, and tools. Left, Trade items such as flags, blankets, cook pots, hatchets, needles, beads, and tobacco. the fire starting kit, above, was popular with all the local tribes. They had met only a combined group of Missouri and Oto Indians by this time.
