get to the north end of Hauser Lake, take I-15's exit 193. Montana
HWY 280 leads you through Lakeside to the Lewis & Clark Interpretive
Center, above Devil's Elbow Campground. You may want to continue across
York Bridge, in the distance, middle left. You can get a closer look
down river toward Lewis's June 20th, 1805 camp (see next page). The
sign, top, depicts the view from the hilltop interpretive center including
Lewis's June 20th camp, and Clark's June 19th camp. They had separated
on the 18th to let Clark hunt for possible Shoshone in the area. Middle
