Lewis & Clark Trail - Lewis and Clark Lake State Park MO
On the morning of July 4th the Expedition shoved off after firing the keelboat canon in honor of Independence Day. On the way to their next camp they passed an 1804 derelict bend of the river and recognized it for what it was. It's Lewis & Clark Lake now. A view from the terrace, top. Even the drain covers have a Lewis & Clark logo, right.
