California Trail Center - Elko NV
Turning north off I-80 at Exit 292, in northern Nevada, you have a different view than I did in 2006. The Greenhorn Cutoff plaque, above and right, still stands in the same spot; now it overlooks the entrance to The California Trail Interpretive Center. The old "West End Of Hastings Cutoff " sign still stands at I-80 east, Exit 292 (See previous page). The exit is about 10 miles west of Elko Nevada.
