After leaving Donner Spring, travelers found a series of water sources as they walked south toward Bidwell Pass. Halls Springs was the largest; the view east, toward Great Salt Lake Desert, top right. Halls Spring was our first non-saline water source after a day and half of searching for Donner Spring.
