Bozeman Pass
Clark's "platoon"crossed the 5760' pass on 7/15. See his tribute to Sacagawea, for suggesting this pass, in the interpretative panel, on the previous page. Photos are views of the pass area along I-90 heading east. Top right; Bridger Range(l) and Gallatin Range(r) flank the pass north and south. Clark continues to search for trees, along the river, large enough to construct canoes. Trees on the pass must have been too far from a river launch. Continue on I-90 to Livingston.
