Lewis & Clark Trail - Hardy MT
Following Old US HWY 91, now called the Missouri River Recreation Road, I camped at Mountain Palace Fishing Access, on the Missouri, near Hardy. Lewis and Clark had separate camps in this general area on June 16, 1805. This canyon is the geographic border between the Rocky Mountains and the Great Plains. Down the Missouri; left, morning, and evening, top left. Above, up the river. Top right, Canadian geese.
