Lewis & Clark Trail
				Van Meter State Park Missouri
		The park is a few miles southwest of Miami. The Corps passed here and camped across from an old Osage village on the eve of June 15. They didn't see these older formations constructed by an ancient tribe. The signs explain the layout and construction of the edifices. Indentations from the fort walls are clearly visible in the photos, right.
