The
commemorative seal, above, is found at or near known Lewis and Clark
campsites accessible to the public. They stand near informative signs.
The signs at Judith Landing explain the passage of the Expedition
and subsequent history of the area. The map on a previous page and
the Lewis journal entry, right, are part of the display. The entry
describes the bull buffalo charge cited on the previous page. It is
a rare instance of mentioning, Seaman, Captain Lewis' dog. |
