Judith Landing
Lewis & Clark Trail - Montana
The commemorative seal, above, is found at or near known Lewis and Clark campsites accessible to the public. They stand near informative signs. The signs at Judith Landing explain the passage of the Expedition and subsequent history of the area. The map on a previous page and the Lewis journal entry, right, are part of the display. The entry describes the bull buffalo charge cited on the previous page. It is a rare instance of mentioning, Seaman, Captain Lewis' dog.
