| A
trail from Canoe Landing runs another mile south, along the Netul
River to this spot. It had a dock for an extensive logging industry
long after the Corps roamed the area. There's a covered kiosk with
many interpretive displays about Lewis & Clark history, and the
logging industry along the river. Left, pilings on Netul River are
evidence of past docks. Replicas of canoe making efforts sit by the
river, top left. No Corps canoes were fashioned here, but Canoe Landing
has no replicas. Ft Clatsop Road continues to Netul landing. |
