Esther Steiner, assisted by Bill Millar, teaches visitors about the firearms used by the Corps and Indians. Lewis had purchased 15 muzzle-loading, flintlock rifles, above, at the Harpers Ferry arsenal. Some Corps members, carried their own weapons.
