The
front, right room, next to the Captains' quarters, was inhabited by
the Charbonneau family. A dress and cradle board hang on the wall.
Visitors have the opportunity to don period clothing to help them
get a feel for the era. This room, as well as the others have storage
shelves, top right, for personal and common items. Shanks of meat
hang in the supply room, left, at the other end of the fort's right
side. |
