Clark drew the plan for Fort Clatsop on one of his journal covers.
A facsimile of the cover lies on a work table in the Captains' quarters.
Visitors may handle all of the artifacts. Note the number of feet
designated for each room - the total being 50 square feet, right.
Both Lewis and Clark had time to catch up on adding detailed information
to their journals. Lewis worked on natural history and native anthropology.
