		I arrived in St Charles on May 15 - just in time for "Lewis & Clark Heritage Days - Commemorating the 204th Anniversary of the Lewis & Clark Rendezvous at St. Charles, MO" - according to the pamphlet. This event, put on by the Discovery Expedition of St Charles, reenacts the Corps' stay here. Left: Meriwether Lewis, center, Seaman, right, Private John Shields, blacksmith and gunsmith.
