Clarkston Washington
Clarkston sits on the west side of the Snake/Clearwater confluence. West of town, US HWY 12 hugs the Snake River's edge, above. The Red Wolf Crossing bridge spans the river allowing access to the north side. Top left and right, the view down river to the bridge. Left, a chokecherry tree grows on the river bank. The Captains made many references to such trees during the journey. The Corps passed here 10-11-1805.
