These fall colors were at my campsite in the Lolo Creek Campground. It was my base camp for touring the west side of the motorway. It's one of those rare places, on the entire Lewis and Clark Trail, where you can camp on the trail, or near an actual LC campsite. You can imagine the Expedition passing by, on its way to Phasant Camp and the Weippe Prairie. Drive 23 miles north, from Kamiah Idaho, to reach the campground.
