Telling us how they "proceeded on," William Clark, aka Ritchie Doyle, describes the tools used to find the way west and create maps of the journey. Captain Clark drew the maps as well as recorded weather and distances traveled. Captain Clark presented us with copies of his map of the Bitterroots.

Left, Captain William Clark discusses the highlights of the trek with the group. Left to right: Skylar Fairchild, Pam Murray, Andy Kelly, Chuck Wilson, Chris England, and Malcolm Vaughan. After hearing Clark's horrendous tale of hunger and deprivation on the Lolo Trail, the LC Adventures crew graciously fed him a sumptuous breakfast.
The Corps departed Snowbank Camp in a heavy snow storm on the 16th of September, 1805.
